What is the Devnarayan Gurukul Yojana?

The Devnarayan Gurukul Yojana was started by the Rajasthan Government and it is a scheme being implemented to bring forth the economically disadvantaged students of the community. Those who want to take admissions in Classes 6 to 12 and aim those houses where parents do not pay income tax to the government.

Backward classes being given this privilege include communities from the Banjara, Baldiya, Labana, Gadiya-Lohar, Gadolia, Raika, Rabari (Debasi), Gujar, Gurjar, and Gadaria (Gadri), and Gayari tribes.

Those who apply need to provide the self-declaration form that they don’t pay income tax to the government.

For the application process, students will need to visit the official portal and then provide the NIC ID. Post this step, students must complete their application and then click on the Submit tab.

Apart from the income certificate, you will also need to provide a caste certificate, domicile, Aadhar, education qualification certificate, and also your class V marksheet copy.
