Alluri Sowmya, hailing from the West Godavari district of Telangana, is a student who has been behind this restraint order. According to her claims, the movie is projecting wrong facts from history and is maligning the two great freedom fighters, Alluri Sita Ramaraju and Komaram Bheem, through wrong details. Alluri Sita Ramaraju is portrayed by Ram Charan, and Jr. NTR plays the role of Komaram Bheem. She alleges that the portrayal is being done wrongly, and thereby, these two freedom fighters won’t get their due. The High Court of Telangana was requested to place a restraining order on the movie.

The movie was slated for release on January 7, but due to the Omicron threat and further COVID-related fears spreading across the country, the film has already been delayed. Sowmya demands that the high court not issue a censorship certificate for the movie. SS Rajamouli, the director of this movie, is exceptionally heartbroken, and the star cast includes the debuts of Ajay Devgan and Alia Bhatt from Bollywood. NT Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan are playing the roles of the freedom fighters. The film would also star Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson, and Shriya Saran in supporting roles.

The entire crew recently appeared in The Kapil Sharma Show, where Jr.NTR was seen commenting on Alia Bhatt’s slim figure, while Bhatt responded by saying that even though Jr.NTR is a great cook, he never made anything for her on the set.

RRR has a budget of over Rs. 400 crore and is scheduled to be released worldwide. Alia Bhatt will play the role of Sita in the movie.

Due to the request filed by Sowmya the film can be delayed further for its release. It is already running late for its scheduled release. In his statement, the director of the movie, SS Rajamouli, does not deny that the film’s characters have been dramatized. Even though the film is based on real people, the director agrees that characters are portrayed fictionally.

Details of the plot

Alluri Soumya of Satyavarapu Undrajavaram’s petition PIL for RRR in Telangana was heard by Justice Venkateswara Reddy and Justice Ujjal Bhuyan on the Telangana High Court.
The plot primarily revolves around an inspirational and fictional friendship between two superheroes and is termed as absolutely imaginary. The director also tried portraying Komaram Bheem from Telangana and Alluri Sitarama Raju from Andhra Pradesh.

The film is said to have derived inspiration from the Hollywood movie Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds, which was released in 2009.

He further believes that when portraying a fictional plot, there need to be reasons to stick to the accuracy of plot and character descriptions. He refers to ‘Inglourious Basterds’ and says he could really not come to terms with Hitler dying in the movie. The film also portrays religious harmony and is all set to move the audience.

M. Keeravani, Rajamouli’s elder cousin, has composed the songs. The two freedom fighters, Alluri Sitaram Ram and Komaran Bheem, have been a part of the freedom fights against the British Raj and the Nizams of Hyderabad.

In the movie, their stay in Delhi is shown as being in 1920, before they started fighting against the country. It is here that Rajamouli drew his plot together. The plot revolves around the meeting of the two tribal leaders and the events that follow from their meeting.
