Garena Free Fire Game relaunches in India a year after ban

Garena was banned in India a year and a half ago when several Chinese apps were banned from the market. Even though Garena was built by a Singapore giant, it was pooled in since the app, according to the IT and electronics ministry was responsible for obtaining several critical permissions in this regard. Singapore-based giant Forrest Li has relaunched Garena Free Fire and it is going to be available to people from the 5th of September which means Garena relaunches Free Fire. India was a major hub for Garena Free Fire and players were deeply disappointed by their decisions.

It has partnered with Yotta, the data service unit of Indian property billionaire Niranjan Hiranandani of the Hiranandani group. Through Yotta, you will be able to store the data of the Indian users’ data specifically on local servers.

 By connecting to the Indian customer base, Sea’s slowing down business could again gain momentum. With lower-than-expected profit returns, investors were deeply disappointed and this decision could be a game-turner for them. Garena profits help fund the e-commerce market competition with Ali Baba and Lazada growing into a digital financial service giant.

The e-commerce operations of Sea are still halted and business is not as usual. Even though they are bringing back Free Fire Garena, there are no indications of bringing the e-commerce platform back to India. They had shut down Shopee, a month after Free Fire Garena was closed down from the market.
