Career

After completing his studies, Hardik Patel started working as a water supplier in the commercial sector. It was his family business. But he wanted to do something for society.

He was very much interested in social activity so he joined SPG ( Sardar Patel Group) and Patidar youth group. He also became the president of his group.

In 2015, he created a Samiti for Patidar caste. The name of this Samiti is Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti. In short form, people call it PAAS.

It is a non-political party and it was formed to raise the voice of Patidar caste to involve them in OBC quota.

On 26 August 2015, he organized a rally for Patidar Caste and the name of this rally was Maha Kranti Rally. It was held in Ahmedabad. But, unfortunately, this rally did not get success and it turned into violence.

He has been arrested after this rally in case of violence. After that, he came out from jail on bail after 9 months on 14 July 2016.

And in 2018, he has been sentenced to a criminal and jail for two years in that case.
