How to apply for CAO online application in South Africa?

For the online application process, through CAO, follow these steps closely.

• Visit the www.cao.ac.za website.
• Click on the apply button.
• Add your ID number and then click on the Submit tab available.
• Move to the bottom of the page and then click on continue with the application tab.
• Add every detail carefully. Once all the information is entered click on the Next tab.
• Again click on the Continue tab.
• You will now be taken to a CAO number, password, and Easy Pay number screen.
• Read their instructions and then do what is required.
• Click on continue option within your online application.
• After all information is completed, click on the Next tab.
• You will have to fill-in the next of kin details and then again you must click on the next tab.
• Search for your school’s name by entering it in the Search tab.
• Enter the year you began attending the school and ended attending it.
• Once you have clicked on Next, you will reach a point where you can click on the Process My application. Once you click on the tab, your application will get submitted. The screen will show your submission is successful.
• Next, you need to pay online and also submit your documents.

You can also apply through their mobile app and also apply with the hard copy.

Application Requirements

You will need a government ID and your passing mark sheets and certificates. People who are switching universities must submit their previous university’s documents and details.
